We haven't been able to hold him yet. I'll probably burst into tears. I might get to hold him later in the week when I run by their house. We have been waiting for the doctor to give the okay. I forgot to ask her about that. Her first instructions were that no elderly or young children could come to the house for 30 days. That leaves out the MIL's mother. That's not going over well. LOL! The MIL is supposed to come by today and she isn't supposed to bring her two young step-girls. We'll see if she obeys that rule.

No, the MIL won't get to hold him today. I'll have to see what the doctor is saying. They don't want to compromise his immune system with so many visitors.

Yes, that woman just astounds me! I never knew her this way.
I don't even breath on him when I'm looking at him. We aren't sickly people, but I do that so that my daughter will have less to fear and can sleep at night. It's just getting through this beginning as a new mother. I just want to do my part to make that easier for both of them.

What a gorgeous boy, there is nothing quite like the feeling of holding that first grandbaby.

Awww, thanks, he is gorgeous. LOL! She said that she feels like a human pacifier! LOL! I said, "Welcome to motherhood. Your time of nursing will end, but for the rest of your life, you will always have him on your mind."

Nothing in the world compares to being a parent, that's for sure!
I'm so happy for all of you, PO.
