I can imagine how frustrating this will be for her. Hospitals are an awful place to get sick in......LOL

LOL! They are telling her that she will have to go home. She is upset about that, but is packing. Now she will have to drive back and forth. They live on the opposite side of town from the hospital.

Thank you! I said to my husband, "I believe God can. Is that enough faith?" He said, "Yes, now stop acting like a Catholic!"
Funny, we prayed for Margie this morning in our prayer meeting and I had more faith to pray for her than I did my own grandson. What is up with that?

Good for him, he is right.
It is harder when you are the one going through it, than it is when someone else is.

.... "stop acting like a Catholic"....
P.O. - so often it IS easier to have faith and believe when it is someone else. I have found that to be true in my own life. Know that we are standing with you and believing for a complete miracle and healing in his little body !

And on the Catholic thing (lol), I called my mother and told her what he said. She said, "Well, I would hope you didn't have any of that in you after all these years." I wanted to say, "Mother, you are more Catholic than all of us!"
Years of praying a Rosary, lighting candles, confession, etc., you just never feel like God heard you. It's like begging over and over. I don't think you totally ever get over that. You find evidence of it in a really stressful situation. LOL! My mother used to have a "glow-in-the-dark" Rosary! She told us not to touch it, but we were SO fascinated by it. We would sneak in her room and take it inside her closet. LOL!
UPDATE: Good news. She has a urinary tract infection which will not hinder her on seeing the baby! She has plenty of milk pumped and frozen and is going to let them take care of him while she goes home to sleep for a while.
AND ALL of her medical bills have been covered! Thank you Jesus!!!
Every day can only get better!!! Although, I hated last night!!! Just got off the phone with her - "I am never having another child. I'm never going through this again." Poor thing!!!

Re: PRAY for PO's Daughter and Grandson
UPDATE: They did an Upper GI to see if he had a reflux problem and he does not. Because he is a preemie, he needs time to work out his sucking and swallowing skills. He could possibly work that out in as little as two weeks. Praise the Lord!
Also, my SIL's father is out of the country and they will stay at his house, which is just a few blocks from the hospital. They won't have to drive across town several times a day. Great!!!

What a relief, on both counts.

Awesome! So he doesn't have additional health problems, the problems are just because of underdeveloped lungs due to being a preemie?

Re: PRAY for PO's Daughter and Grandson
I think the lungs and kidneys develop last. They might just need to catch up.
