Services for Rev. Vernon L. Neely, 81, of Lufkin will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Texas District United Pentecostal Church Campground. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. in the Cooper Cemetery in Merryville, La. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Rev. Neely was born Sept. 3, 1928 in Merryville, La., and died Jan. 19, 2010 at his residence. Carroway Funeral Home, Lufkin, directors.
