More yucky news about my dad...
Got news today that not only does a problem with his kidney, now he has to go Oklahoma City to have a nuclear stress test done on his heart on the 12th of August.
My stress level is rising a bit here. I am doing better, but it seems that the devil is after my hyde and trying to discourage me. I am tired, but I'm not feeling the fear as bad, but the pressure is building inside my head. So please say a prayer for me. My head and heart KNOW all the scriptures and all the things you are supposed to say and do, but sometimes getting them together and working together is a whole different story.
Thanks for being there ladies and gentlemen, it means more to me than you'll know.

Re: More yucky news about my dad...
Lord Jesus we ask that you rebuke the spirit of discouragement that has been sent against our dear sister in the name of Jesus. We ask that you loose a spirit of encouragement to her beyond her wildest imagination. Let the spirit of fear be turned to a spirit of faith.
Give her a peaceful night of sleep tonight and let Your Spirit blow a wind of refreshing in the service she is in tomorrow.
All glory goes to you LOrd Jesus.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

I don't know what I would have done during my son's two tours of Iraq had it not been for a group of people on a forum. The strength I got from the encouragement was amazing and second only to that of the Holy Spirit. Tha experience is the main reason I totally reject the notion that a forum like this one is "strictly entertainment" as some have tried to state.

We may not all see eye to eye, but this is a group of people that really do pray. I've been privileged to have ya'll pray for stuff before and I know God has heard and answered your prayers on my behalf.
I haven't been on as much lately mainly cause I've been so busy, but honestly, when you get tired and are already struggling, sometimes, it's good to pull back and stay away from stuff that you KNOW is going to get your goat. Well, sometimes my goat gets got around here and I have to pull back and just pray. ( have had a bunch of stuff happeing, so it's not just the things on here...such is life, huh) but no matter what, I know you pray and that means more than you'll know.
Love ya'll guys!!!
