R U praying for US financial stability?
Please share with me how you are praying for:
Our Banks & Financial Institutions?
And US financial stability over all?
Government leaders?
I have been asked to speak on this topic when we are in Singapore-
Please share your thoughts!
Thanks!

Re: R U praying for US financial stability?
Elizabeth, the time to pray was about a year and a half ago. Instead, God's people stuck their heads in the sand. I believe God will continue to bless His church, in spite of this economic depression, but I truly believe we are living in a different Amerika than we have ever known.
God will use this situation to get the church's attention.

I pray for anyone I know and for leaders etc... but I am not sure if I should pray for success of institutions that made poor choices... perhaps pray they will learn not to repeat the mistakes of the past??

What do you suggest we pray about it, in it's current condition?
How do we pray for other countries that have been affected by our mistakes?

I think it is wrong to pray that God blesses wicked, greedy institutions that brought the global economy to its knees.
Instead, we should pray for forgiveness. We should repent of our greed, selfishness and worldliness. We should pray that God baptizes us with compassion for the lost, the sick, the hurting, the homeless, the poor, the destitute and the misled.

Yes greed - in as much as it was involved. I tend to think it was primarily FALSE BENEVOLENCE that got us here. The idea that everyone has right to a home etc...

More or less come from it at an angle of repentance? That they repeat of greed selfishness ect.
I almost feel like sharing with them the financial collapse of the real-estate market here in Ca. It was all greed driven--
Very good thoughts Bro Ed-I think what you are saying is spirit lead actually.

Singapore is a socialist country...and basically much of there housing is government subsidized. The government owns the land.
Singapore is very materialistic though-
