Not looking for a reward, just wanted to take on the myth that if you don't preach our cultural outward standards as the doctrine then you won't have revival or growth. Or worse yet you will lose everything that you have.

Re: For the Record!
I'll put this forth Keith, just because God is blessing you doesn't necessarily mean he is pleased with you or your teaching (insert anyone and any teaching here).
So what are you trying to state that God isn't blessing you?
I believe he is.
The Doctrine we teach is another thing all together.
Not picking a fight, I am just stating that because we have growth, signs or wonders, doesn't mean we are kosher with God.
Just my 2 cents, probably 1 Canadian cents after exchange!

That's gotta be one of the nuttiest things I have ever heard. Now, if you want to make a case that it is not God's blessings that is one thing but to say that God is blessing someone, but God's not pleased is just ludicrous.

But if we add some good ole clothes line preaching to the mix then we become kosher and makes God smile upon our lives. Whatever that means.

I guess I could have phrased that better, I wasn't trying to be harsh. But don't do what you do for Him and then seek out the approval or to prove something to those that don't matter.

Ron are you saying God isn't pleased with us??
Sorry I am just a little bit confused as to why you would say this, and we are not teaching any new doctrine--so dont know why God would not be pleased with us.

Ron, I understand totally what you are saying. I would however question what many term "blessings of God". It is very often not what we think it is.
I have heard it said, "If you are here tonight and need anything - whether it's your health, your finances, or other miracle - IT IS GOD'S WILL that you leave with it". This kind of speak leaves me perplexed. I believe what we want and what God wants is very often in conflict. There are times when our will meshes with the will of God - yes, but it is achieved through the Holy Spirit and a denial of our own will.
Keith, sorry for the detour....
I am thrilled that folks are being saved under you ministry!

Sis, no I am not. I am just saying that we (any Christian) can not equate God's blessing or blessings with our right standing with him.
I did not want it to seem like I was knocking you or Keith.
I have great respect for you both going and starting a new work.
Your trips overseas are awesome.
I think it was Bro Stoneking who stated in one of his messages that, God can bless us & still not be pleased with us.
I agree.
God blesses us because he is good.
It was a generic statement for anyone including myself.
Please forgive me if you took it otherwise.
