It should be ok to address politics in a unified voice as a church as soon as we unify on things like haircuts, open toed shoes, pants, which gender can do what, and difference between receiving the Holy Spirit, and being baptized with the Holy Ghost !!
Just as soon as we agree that we have a definitive Word from God on those things, then perhaps we can move on to minor things like politics?
