A Letter From Hell
http://youtube.com/watch?v=YFZ1pt0WX5c
After I watched this last night, I almost collapsed. Please, before you pass judgment, watch the whole thing. I sit here shaking at what I heard.
How much blood is upon my hands, the hands of the believers? God help me, help us.

Re: A Letter From Hell
I watched it all the way through. Now I will pass judgment. For one thing should we assume that his friend was a Christian? They PARTIED together? Where I come from that means more than cutting a piece of cake together.
He never witnessed to someone who was a close friend? Does not sound like someone filled with the Spirit. Sounds like someone who if THEY died would be in danger of Hell fire.
And then the way it ends is ironic. Giving a so call plan of salvation that does not even mention repentance. No call to take up the cross and follow Jesus. So the "salvation" that is offered will probably bring about the same fruit that the young "Christian" party goer did. Live like the world. Be ashamed of Christ.

Re: A Letter From Hell
Michael, I am sorry to see this scrutinized this way. You see, we have this tendency to make excuses to not want to evangelize, not want to go out, not want to share our faith. We have this us 4 and no more mentality, and the 'don't bother me' thought process. We stand in judgment daily, because we do not do enough, and the result of this is people standing in Hell, right now, whom we should have lived right before, whom we should have witnessed to, and did not.
Yes, they partied together. But, this video shows our need to live the life and witness continuously. But, among Apostolics, the life is more about dress standards than witnessing and holiness before God in ALL areas, thus presenting real Christianity. The plan of salvation involves repentance, and the proclaiming of the Gospel brings forth repentance.
I am sorry you did not get the heart of what this video was saying. I kinda felt it was going to fall on deaf ears here, but I had to try.

Hi Bill,
You assumed judgment would be passed on the video so I did. Dont think that because of what I said about the video I dont share your God given concern for the lost.
I preached on the streets of my town Saturday till I had practically no voice left. I want to see men flee from the wrath to come. I want to see men and women, boys and girls loving Yeshua Messiah.
That video simply reminded me of the Baptist style of salvation that is so common nowadays. Say a prayer. Believe Jesus did it all. Go back to sleep.
I also understand what you said about dress standards and have been vocal about it for years. Apostolics have missed a chance to bring how many souls into their Churches. Why? Condemned them for wearing a beard. Condemned the Sisters for trimming their hair. Only God knows how many they have pushed into the open arms of the Trins or Arians.
