Men who call themselves aka Bastards and not Sons

I am sure we all knows these people. They are ministers, teachers, pastors, etc... that are 'called' to the ministry question is, "By who?" (They don't have to necessarily be leaders but they tend to do more damage)

The Bible says: Proverbs 18:16
A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.

I know that if we are gifted by God he will make sure to put us in the right places. Unfortunately some seem to have the gift of 'opening doors' for themselves.

People who watch and listen will learn about these people long before others. Problem is the damage is done and is usually extensive. They fall and their ministries crumble and those who placed them above reproach end up being distroyed but these people. They end up hating God and the church because they feel so betrayed by these types.

These people usually do not take correction from others or from God. The Bible states: Hebrews 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

In judgement they are going to be dissappointed: Matthew 7:22-24
22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Problem is when you know these people for what they are you have to be very careful how to approach and what to do. It is hard to sit back and watch them fool others.

Re: Men who call themselves aka Bastards and not S

In Matt. 15:13, Jesus said that "Every plant, which my Father hath not planted,
shall be rooted up". The Father will do the pulling up. Sometimes plants are trans-
planted because they will grow better in a different climate or soil. Some plants
grow better if they are not too close together. Plants are sometimes very delicate,
while mature trees can usually take quite a bit of wind and storm. That is if their
roots go way down and rests on the Rock (stability).
In the parable of the wheat and tares, the servants asked if they should gather
up the tares, but the householder said No, because while gathering up the tares
you should root some of the wheat also. Wait until harvest and the master (house
holder) would say to the reapers. Gather first the tares and put them into bundles
and burn them. But gather the wheat into his barn.

That waiting until the harvest is what takes much patience but it can and must
be done. If we can just "wait upon the Lord, and be renewed in the spirit of our
minds, God will always do what needs to be done and HE is able to do it without
harming the "wheat". The ungodly are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

That is very well said. I agree
It is just very hard watching and hearing things when you know how damaging some people really are.

Dear Brother,

I have seen many things in my 68 yrs.,but had a wonderful godly
grandmother and godly parents who guided me through some difficult
times, especially after I received the Holy Ghost at 18 yrs. old. Soon
after receiving the Holy Ghost, some things happened that could easily
have caused me to lose complete respect and trust of supposed men
of God. If it had not been for those wise mentors in my life, no telling
where I would or could be today. There was never a time when they
didn't teach me to respect the office, but never get my eyes on the
man as some super spiritual being. That has served me well through the
50 yrs. since I received the Holy Ghost. Man can fail! God cannot!

Yes, it takes patience and total faith in God that HE will take care of
every situation if we can trust Him with it!
If we cannot wait on Him, there is the possibility of uprooting some of
our very own family, perhaps children, grandchildren or other. I am not
willing to take that chance. Every time you feel you must do something
about the situation, pray and fast, looking unto Jesus, the Author and
Finisher of our faith. Trust Him with ALL your heart! He will not fail you,
neither will He forsake you, so that we may BOLDLY say, "The LORD is
my helper. I will not fear what man shall do unto me".

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. Also knowledge and
understanding.

The fear of man bringeth a snare (trap).

His grace is sufficient!

Blessings,

Falla39

Thank you. The advice is good. It does help to pray and fast when problems arise. (also helps to do even when there are no problems or questions)
I do have to pray hard some days. Especially when I see things that give praise to a man that I personally know is very bad and rotten. I have to bite my tongue HARD to not speak out.

I do understand what you are saying. Remember that in our patience possess we our souls, and possibly the souls of others that may not be mature enough to weather the storm it would cause. Prayer is a powerful weapon against that which is not right. Our flesh wants to confront.
The Spirit wants to bring to repentance. Our flesh wants something done
about it. Pray UNTIL you can give it to God and He WILL take care of it.
He is merciful but will expose what is not right...in HIS time.

Blessings,

Falla39

My only hope and my trust is in God to do just this very thing. My thorn in the flesh is waiting for it to happen and hoping it does in my lifetime.
