I was wondering if there is anything you are going to do for Valentines to your sweetie tomorrow?
I wonder what mine will do?
Will she try to strangle me when she found out I did not do anything?
Will she be mad at the dandelions I got instead of Roses?"
I will get her a dozen Roses, I am not sure if we can swing dinner tomorrow because she will work late.
I know some of you have spouses that post/read here but perhaps you can drop hints????
BTW I found out when we first got married that while others may get here different kinds of flowers, from me she expected "Roses!"
I found that out as she was gnarling and gnashing her teeth before she morphed back into something akin to human!
Same as every year...Rehearsals and sound checks for Youth X-Plosion....sheesh! http://www.elevateyx.com/
But we did buy plane tix for early March and consider that our gifts...
Points for you!
I like to give, so I got roses last night and eight small vases and I'm going to give each of my employees a few roses each and make heart shaped sugar cookies too! Several of them are single and won't get anything, so it gives me joy to give them a little something!

Parent teacher conferences for 2 kids, maybe dinner with a pastor and his wife. Depends if they're willing to wait dinner until after the dinnertime conferences. Homework.

God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we're in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ. ~Romans 3:24 from The Message
Dinner for two at the Melting Pot, my wife's favorite restaurant.

That is really sweet!
It isn't a Valentines present but it's happening next week so I'm going to count it as one, my boss is sending his secretaries to our distict "Ladies Retreat", paying our way, and giving us the time off paid! He is a great boss!
As for V day, tomorrow I plan on going home, grabbing a good book and taking a very long bubble bath!
Nothing special, but for all the wives and/or girlfriends. One year I sent my husband a single red rose at work. He took a lot of kidding but he loved it. None of the guys ever had that happen and their wives/girlfriends heard about it.....lol
Actually will be spending time with family, kids and grandkids. I have lots of valentine's.
But I will get chocolate and I don't have to cook.

OOOHHHHH, lucky girl, I love the Melting Pot!!! You aren't spending pocket change on that either!!
She's worth every penny of it and more. I really have a fantastic wife. I am the lucky one.
