I agree and I have heard Steve speak many times about Sis. Miller and the work she did there.

Sis. Barb has been battling cancer. She had cancer years ago - about 10 I think. She had surgery and went through treatments and has a testimony of healing. She has written a book about her healing. Just in the past year or so the cancer returned. She has gone through bouts of chemo, has lost her hair but it has started growing back. The last report I received from Steve was that the latest PET scan showed no tumor! Her blood levels indicating cancer activity were still not normal but they were believing and trusting God to take care of that as well. I have not heard a report from the lastest concerning those levels. I think they were due to test again sometime in mid or late Dec. She has been a very sick lady but has trusted God through it all. The doctor has not been optomistic as far as her prognosis, but they remain steadfast in their prayers for healing.

Lord knows he kept my daddy praying a lot back then!! He was like the OTHER big brother to me - the good and the bad!! He was a good friend to me.

And believe it or not - at one time he had a thick head of blonde hair and oh was he finicky about his hair!
The only time I met Steve, he had thick blond hair. I met his sister Cindy too at some point - very pretty gal.

Cindy still looks pretty much the same as she did back then. She and her husband are in N'ville. His younger sister, Karen and husband, are still in the D'brg area.

Dennis Bloome was a 3rd year student the year I was first year, I think. He was a great guy.

When I talked to Steve on the phone he told me that the Dr's said that Barb's blood count would NEVER be normal again. They are believing God for a miracle and can't wait to hear the Dr. say that he can't believe what happened.

I was able to check with Steve's mom - the friend that would visit with Steve was Peter Almore from Australia. I don't know which ABI class he was in.
