age old questions

Did Adam and Eve age before they sinned? Was Eve able to conceive before Genesis 3:16?

Was Adam born with "apparent age" or in other words, was he a 30 yr old fully formed man?

I personally do not think they aged until after the fall. I don't know why they were NOT able to conceive before the Gen 3:16, but we have no record they did have any children.

My personal opinion was that Adam was created as a "young adult." All around him were animals who were paired up as male and female. He could look at his own body and realize he was obviously male but there was no female for him. Then God formed Eve from material taken from his side and presented her to him. I'm sure he could see that she was obviously female and compatible with him. I believe they could have had children prior to their sin of disobedience but I don't know if they did or not. Cain seems to the first male child and he was born after the fall. There were other brothers and sisters but I'm not sure when they were born.

Just my opinion

I think that what ever was in the nutrients of the fruit of the Tree of Life kept them from aging. Once they sinned and God removed the Tree of Life, aging and death was the result.

All that I know is that Adam and Eve had no belly buttons.

I think there was not death, nor aging past the prime of life -- since babies would obviously age to adulthood -- before sin entered the world. Death only came because of sin.

So whether or not Adam ate the fruit of Life he would not have died before the fall. This brings us to the interesting conclusion that the fruit of life had the remedy for death in it before anyone needed it!

Does anybody have any idea how much time there was between the time Adam was formed from the dust of the earth and when Eve was formed from material from his side?
Or how long after YHWH brought those two together in the Garden as a breeding pair until they disobeyed God as recorded in Genesis chapter 3?

I've been reading some books by L.R. Ooton and it sounds like he believed that when God said "Let us make man in our image..." he was speaking to Adam and Eve and about the process of reproduction. In other words, YHWH was encouraging them to have children.

If Adam and Eve were created in God's likeness and image doesn't that imply they were immortal or eternal beings, would not one of the results of original sin be physical death ?
Did not mankind losing access to the Tree Of Life bring physical and spiritual death ?
