Mama's Home Cooking: Pass the Tostones [Wilmington,NC]

We arrived to Wilmington,NC on Wednesday night. Danah, Aaron and I are visiting Mom, my sister, Darcie, and her family.

Mom lives just down the street from my sister. I'm so glad Mom is comfy and well-situated.

Did I mention I'm eating Mom's home cooking???!!! Hallelujah.

In the last couple of days I've pigged out on rice, steak, pork chops and tostones ... fried green plantains. I'm in HEAVEN.

My two brothers and their families will be driving down next week. I can't wait .... it's been almost 2 years since my kids have gotten to see all of 'em.

I've gone camera happy.... so in the next few days I'll be posting some.

Hard to explain ... it's one of those things you have to experience ... with some rice and beans.
