Moving Day - not too bad!

As I sit here listening to a great CD all the work of packing and cleaning has paid off - - and having a little money to pay someone to move me!!!

I ran the air conditioner down to about 60 - sitting here with my laptop staying out of the way while these two guys are sweating and carrying all my worldly possessions out onto the moving truck. Not too bad!

A few good friends asked if I needed help moving - - I told them I appreciate my friends too much to ask them to do that - - I want to keep them as friends - lol!

Of course, my work starts back up in a couple hours for the next few days as I sort, unpack, put away and try to find new spots for things!

Well, I've been here two years and when I moved from my home to this apt. I said I would never move again - - - so much work, but how quickly we forget (just like childbirth)!!

My son moves into his home this weekend (2 mos. before he gets married), so for the first time in my life I will be ALONE! So, I thought a new place, new surroundings, new memories would be a good thing. We'll see.

It'll keep me busy during the transition, then the wedding, then the holidays, then most likely my daughter will be getting married next summer.

Now, after she marries - I'll have to find something else to tackle!
