Opening of US Embassy in Jerusalem -Ceremony
It makes sense to be in Jerusalem.
The worst part of the ceremony was listening to John Hagee give a prayer - Ugh!

How about just imagining how many churches will be airing this coming Sunday morning with Hagee praying.
Irvin Baxter Jr must be shoutin his hair down.

I was thinking that very thing!
Did you know that I attended Hagee's church back in the 80's? There was a UPC church around the corner and I had no idea, at the time. lol

I'm waiting for the Jim Baker show with Irvin Baxter & Hagee to come out on utube, charts and all.

LOL!
I am surprised that Ivanka Trump wasn't wearing something outlandish to get attention like she usually does. Have you noticed she always tries to out dress Melania? I haven't read that anywhere, it is just my observation. But, she is speaking at the Opening, so I guess since she got some limelight, she didn't need to overdo the outfit.

Re: Opening of US Embassy in Jerusalem -Ceremony
Isn't it interesting that on this same date in 1948, the State of Israel was proclaimed?!
https://www.history.com/this-day-in-...ael-proclaimed
On May 14, 1948, in Tel Aviv, Jewish Agency Chairman David Ben-Gurion proclaims the State of Israel, establishing the first Jewish state in 2,000 years. In an afternoon ceremony at the Tel Aviv Art Museum, Ben-Gurion pronounced the words “We hereby proclaim the establishment of the Jewish state in Palestine, to be called Israel,” prompting applause and tears from the crowd gathered at the museum. Ben-Gurion became Israel’s first premier...........
