the difference being that most of those have undergone at least one regime change since those occurred.

Sounds to me like they are wanting people who never had anything to do with slavery to be taxed to pay people who have never have been slaves. Most everyone who has came here, came because they have been oppressed by someone else. Even the slaves brought over where freed on the American belief that all men should be free. I understand that slavery is not a good thing, but I do believe that many here today are better because of it. I don't think many African Americans would want to be living in the poverty and disease stricken homeland they where brought from.

The problems in the African American communities is not that they need more money poured into them. That is something we all want, right? We need Jesus to reach the heart of these communities and for there to be an inward change. Government cannot fix the problems with crime and poverty in the black community, but God can. If any body is failing the black community it is not the US government, but it is the Church!!! Giving free handouts doesn't improve a persons lifestyle, but it causes people to get an entitlement mentality. It actually hurts more than it helps. We should really be praying for the black communities.

I'd say the many trillions of dollars funding the War on Poverty is more than enough in reparations payments. Many AAs, along with others, have benefitted from government programs fighting urban decay and poverty.

That was between Germany and the victims of their documented efforts to commit genocide. Germany wanted to do it, it's their business. Shoot EB go ahead and write a check to your neghboring African Americans. You can do that in lieu of all the tithes you've never given.
