Good news though:
Super PACs backing Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz have raised more than double the PAC backing presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

That is good news. I'm hoping while Clinton, Paul, Bush are grabbing the headlines, Senator Cruz is quietly amassing the funds necessary to run a stellar campaign.
America might stand a chance yet.

I'm making the prediction that he's going to trounce her early, though she won't give up without a nasty fight.
It's going to be O'Malley vs the Republican field.

Think he can survive the Clinton machine? Those people are vicious.
What do you think his chances are, should he live to tell?

In 2002, Bill Clinton told an O'Malley campaign crowd that O'Malley would be president one day.
obama showed that the Clinton machine can be beaten. Right now is the perfect time for O'Malley. Hillary is a weak candidate. She's hiding out from the press, not making public appearances. She's resorted to private home dinners, kept secret from the press. She has a ton of baggage, and if obama likes O'Malley, or if Hillary starts talking too strongly against obama's policies, he and could make things very uncomfortable for Hillary. Just ask Menendez.

Re: Sen. Ted Cruz Makes It Official
You people really believe this is a bona fide "contest" between "opposing candidates"?

Thanks for your insights. Menendez was another warning shot in a long line of warning shots.
You don't mess with Jarrett.

Sen. Cruz: Trade Promotion Authority Creates a Path for Prosperity
We must engage the global economy to ignite growth and opportunity at home
May 22, 2015
WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), today released the following statement regarding legislation to establish trade promotion authority:
"The American middle class is getting crushed by the Obama economy," said Sen. Cruz. "Middle class incomes are stagnating, and the labor force participation rate has not been this low since the Carter Administration. While I have serious concerns about the all-too-typical Washington backroom deals that enabled this bill to get to the floor, I could not in good conscience vote against a bill whose most significant impacts will be jobs, growth, and opportunity for struggling American families.
"By passing Trade Promotion Authority, we create a path for trade agreements to reduce government-created barriers to prosperity. More economic growth will expand opportunity to those working to climb the economic ladder and achieve the American Dream.
"This bill increases the transparency of trade deals considered under its rules. It requires the public posting of the full text of any such agreement for at least 60 days before Congress begins consideration and reaffirms that Congress gets the final say. It would enable both this President and the next to expand trade that benefits American workers.
"This legislation ensures the United States will not be stuck on the sidelines as China aggressively pushes the 19 trade agreements it currently has under construction. It sends a message to the world that the United States will play an active role in writing the rules that will govern international trade this century. The cost to peace and prosperity of doing otherwise is too great to let this opportunity pass."

A lengthy reading....but, I want to know more than what the media says about Senator Ted Cruz

Re: Sen. Ted Cruz Makes It Official
Ted Cruz was unable to attend the Southern Republican Leadership Conference in Oklahoma. He was slated to speak last night at 7:30 p.m.
So, his father filled in for him.

I am comparing different candidates voting records and reasoning behind their vote. It appears I judged Mr Cruz to harshly. I might vote for him.

Hot Diggy Dogs! That is pretty sensible of you! Awesome!!! I'll vote with you if the GOP allows him a chance. We will see how Fox handles it, because they are pretty much not talking to him very often.
