Hey bro. I would like to invite you to watch this link.....it shows how ALL of the Bibles came into being and where they came from....it is well worth the time to watch it.

Sorry, that's not what scripture says. They told him "Your speech betrays you."

Peter had a Galilaean accent, that's what betrayed him. Sorta like Bro. Epey in NYC.

Mark 14:70 And he denied it again. And a little after, they that stood by said again to Peter, Surely thou art one of them: for thou art a Galilaean, and thy speech agreeth thereto.

Mark 14:71 But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of whom ye speak.

So all Galilaeans knew Jesus?

Kinda like saying "You are from Chicago. Surely you are a Cub fan!"

LOL! I'd be swearing and denying that!

Just quoting the Bible

for thou art a Galilaean, and thy speech agreeth thereto.

One of my managers wears long-sleeved shirts every day, and he's a lapsed Catholic. He has a skin disorder that doesn't bug him as much when he's got a long-sleeved shirt on. And we live in Arizona, too!

Edit: I've worked for him for seven years now and I've never seen above his wrists. Seriously

Re: Has Steve Pixler left Apostolic Conservatism?

I haven't been able to listen to all of the message, as my internet connection isn't great, however from what I've read of those who have listened to the total message, I am glad to hear that he has realized that the church is God's church, and not "his" church or "his daddy's" church.

I also hope that he carefully and prayerfully goes slowly through this transition, because so much damage can be done by letting the pendulum swing too far out. Trying to walk out the life of righteousness as taught by Jesus, and exampled for us by his disciples as seen throughout the NT... can be a life changing event. The greatest commandment we have all yet to really master and learn "love one another even as ye love yourselves"....

It seems that after the apostolic movement was given light and truth because of the revelation of name of Jesus, and Holy Ghost baptism, they stopped their search to follow Christ, and have become content to label the culture of the times when this revelation became known as the "apostolic way"... when there is still so much yet for all of us to learn.

I'm with you on this. He doesn't seem to have moorings, and he is acting as though he is an island to himself.
