Apparently many are thinking she spoke years ahead of her time.

During the 2008 presidential campaign, Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin warned that if Senator Barack Obama were elected president, his "indecision" and "moral equivalence" may encourage Russia's Vladimir Putin to invade Ukraine.

Palin said then:

After the Russian Army invaded the nation of Georgia, Senator Obama's reaction was one of indecision and moral equivalence, the kind of response that would only encourage Russia's Putin to invade Ukraine next.

The country of Ukraine tonight is very concerned that Russia has indeed invaded Ukraine. Ukranian officials are claiming that Russia today has invaded them.

Just able to look at the sky and see history repeat itself.

Obama is a weakling and is going to show it on this one, again.

This ought to be really interesting in the next few weeks as Obama sits shaking like a puppy passing peach pits over Putin's finger being shaken in his face.

Obama has a picture of Putin on his wall with a sentence written under it, it says....

"When I grow up I want to be like Putin"!

Do you think that the politically polarized and divided Congress has contributed to Russia's perception of President Obama as "weak"?

I read yesterday that Russia gave Kerry their "word" that they would not respond militarily to the crisis in Ukraine and just read this afternoon that Russia is already using military force in Ukraine to "secure their interests".

Jermyn, the cia totally failed on this one. Just two days ago, according to fox, they said that Russia was not going to move into the Ukraine. Then less than 24 hours later we see upwards of 6000 troops on the ground. Sumbody messed up.

Of course Putin gave misinformation to Kerry. Putin was not the head of the KGB for nothing. He did a classic example of keeping your adversary off track until you had done what you intended to do.

Obama is in a crack on this one. If he does nothing he looks wimpy, if he jumps to war like McCain wants then the left will dog him.

Putin moved while Obama is talking. Russia is not going to let the Ukraine go, it is considered he cradle of Russia.

Furthermore, China has now weighed in on the side of Russia of course, demanding that the Ukraine pay up the 6 billion dollar debt that is owed to China. I am sure that if the Ukraine gets back in line with the mother Russia then that debt will then be extended. If not then it is due.

This is what they will do to the US if Obama steps out of line.

The Russians this morning have surrounded a Ukrainian military base. What does this mean for the country of Ukraine? If Russia takes Ukraine by force, while US sits back and does nothing....

Could this happen here in our very own US... what would it mean to us if Russia were to enter Alaska, and surround a base there?

I don't know I would call Sarah Palin a prophet... but she certainly saw the handwriting on the wall back in 2008.

So it's Republicans fault?! Please. More passing the buck by JD. obama was weak with foreign policy before becoming President. No one should be surprised that Putin has run circles around obama and Kerry.

Rep. Rogers gave a great analogy, "Putin is playing chess, and we're playing marbles. And it's not even close."
