Meeting with bank CEOs instead of House GOPers? I guess Goldman Sach's CEO will help stop the Govt shutdown.

Well, with GOP Congressional leaders not getting in front of the cameras to talk to the American people, the President could go golfing and people would still blame the Republicans for the shut down.

obama did what he needed to do Monday and yesterday, by using the words "the Republican shut down" over and over.

And until the GOP leaders get out in front of the cameras and, like you did, question why obama isn't meeting with the leaders of Congress; he can do whatever he wants.

Per PO's comment HERE, obama is meeting with leaders of Congress at 5:30pm today.

I'd love to be able to listen in on that. Not that anything will be resolved in this meeting, of course.
