I see..
Neither of us said we are for a Trinity doctrine. I am for the name of Jesus to be preached across the whole world. Tv is a great way to do that. As of now there is no other choice for the oneness people to be on TV unless it is TBN or Daystar.

He doesn't know what the earnest of our inheritance is, so why am I surprised he can't se it as essential.

I never said it was not essential. Salvation is not done through an equation of steps only. To say that someone repents, baptized and received the HG is saved...That is as bad as once saved always saved.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit is the specific event that introduces the believer to the ongoing process of living a Spirit-empowered life. Although speaking in tongues is the outward sign of Spirit baptism, it is designed by God to be much more than evidence. Paul tells us its a sign to the unbeliever. Subsequent speaking in tongues brings enrichment to the individual believer when employed in private prayer (1 Corinthians 14:4) and to the congregation when accompanied by the interpretation (1 Corinthians 14:6,25).
There is no power at repentance only... the Power comes with the Infilling of the Holy Ghost.. else Peter would have preached... when asked what must we do to be saved..

"Repent of your sins and that's it... God's Spirit is in you"...

Your quibbleing because you know I am not saying that either..but your are defending someone who leaves what you believe as essential to preach or promote a different message than that of the Bible...

but I will answer ... since WE'VE ONLY had this discussed maybe 3413 times

1. I believe that baptism is properly administered in Jesus name ... it is not the incantation of the name that saves us but it speaks to the authority and power given to those who call upon his name.

I know that my PAJC brethren have slew of beliefs on this issue ... such as the the blood is applied only at the mention of the name by the baptizer ...

2. We receive God's spirit at repentance ... it is what being born of God or regenerated means ... the baptism of the Holy Ghost ... being immersed in God's Spirit ...which can be evidenced by speaking in other tongues .... is not a hurdle to attaining salvation but a gift from God .... I reject the tongues or hell doctrine.

It most definitely is Baptist doctrine. This theology would be embraced by Billy Graham, Jimmy Swaggert and all the rest of the easy-believism crowd. Combine this theology with the trinitarian leanings and it's as if nothing truly Apostolic was ever present.

You shall receive power after the HG is come on you and you shall be WITNESSES.....This is where the power completely fills you, but it starts at repentance.
