(And I will pay for them, my part in the giving.) And I'll have them put a ribbon on the flowers saying "Good Grief!"

Love the idea and your generousity.
Still waiting to hear from her pastor, but as soon as I do I will post.
The Mrs. has offered to let us use the "Paypal" button and all proceeds will go the Cindy's family, so I will include that in the post.

GREAT! As soon as we know something I will make arrangements for a beautiful floral spray from AFF friends, with a "Good Grief" ribbon! Is this okay with everyone else? Let me know.
Cindy you ....... . And by the way, will you put in a good word for Been Thinkin up there where you are? There are some that think I need it!

She was a little ball of love that was ready to unwind at a moment's notice. She unwound on me often. To my friends off AFF when I talked about her awesomeness I'd often say she was either the mother or granny of AFF. She had such a way of touching so many lives without even so much as speaking a verbal word in our ears. Yet her "voice" was sweet to "hear" in the messages she wrote me. Even in the times she would get on to me for my posts or actions here she did it in love. She was and always will be an inspiration to me. It's amazing how someone I've never actually has actually affected my life in such a profound way.
I love you Cindy! You are missed. I hope you can find my Mama in heaven and talk about how much you helped me when she died. You can tell her that you messaged me almost every day for several months if for no other reason than to say you were praying for me and you were there to listen.
Thank you for being you, thank you for embracing who God designed you to be, and thank you for sharing your testimony with us too. You were truly one of a kind. See you soon...

With each post, tears well up.
I had the priveledge to speak with Cindy (via phone) when I was preparing to leave AFF as admin and asked her to consider being an admin. She didn't hesitate the request and it was the best thing that ever happened to AFF.
There's going to be a huge whole here.

Re: Memories of Sister Cindy Nash.
I'm sure that Cindy and I used to interact here at AFF, but as I haven't been a regular poster in years, I don't remember much about that. But as some point we became FB friends. According to FB, she had over 2200 friends. And yet, what I remember most about Cindy, is that she was always there to like my status, or tell me how adorable my daughter is, or give me some word of encouragement.

Re: Memories of Sister Cindy Nash.
In reflection some times we wonder why God doesn't do things the way we want Him too.
Yes, Cindy and many others would have loved for God to bring healing to Cindy, but it was because she was not well that she had time to sit and post and pray for your needs and listen when you needed an ear. How many did she encourage? How many did she bring a laugh too? Only God knows.
It just reminds me again how Gods ways are so far above our ways.

I love the idea, if you don't mind covering the cost of the flowers, Been Thinkin. I have a feeling that Cindy's family could use the financial support more than the flowers, but still I'd like for there to be flowers there from all of us. This makes it possible for both Thank you!

If that's okay with the AFF friends count it done!
