Matthew 10:28

I'd like to share what I think this verse of the Bible means. If anyone else has a different take on it then please share.
Mattew 10:28--And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

To me this means--fear yourselves. We are responsible for our own sins and evil and will be judged accordingly. We have the capability to not only kill our neighbor but to destroy our own souls. To kill the devil we have to conquer our own hatred--the devil would then have nowhere to be and no purpose. We need to stop blaming the devil. Jesus holds the keys to hell and death. We hold our own choices.

It means don't fear others who can take your life but not your soul. Fear Him (God) who can take both

It does mean that but it also has the truth that the soul is not immortal.
