Trust me, I understand the whole tired thing.
In fact, there is a thread or two that I still owe Aegsm a response to.
It's just about morning time now.

Re: Another Apology from Obama
Hey JD, when will the President apologize to the US organization who sent thousands of Bibles to Afghanistan that were destroyed by the US Military a couple years ago?
They didn't just return them to the organization, who raised money and got the finances to send them over to Afghanistan. They destroyed them.
Yet, I don't hear a whisper from Barack Hussein Obama. Not one word.
This is the ONLY apology that would be acceptable from Obama...

Your mentioning of his middle name in the context of this conversation is a backhanded display of ignorance. Your display of ignorance is like the guy in high school that tries to be a smart aleck, but looks ignorant instead.
So why should I attempt to give you a valid response?
Nevertheless, the situations in which these two separate events happened are completely different and can't be adequately compared.
When America is occupied by a perceived Muslim nation that takes the Bibles of inprisoned Americans and burns them for suspect reasons, then we can discuss the answer to your question.

The inclusion of the middle name was done with full intent to rile you.
These are not separate issues.
Fact is, these Korans were a) already desecrated by the inmates writing codes in them b) they had codes written in them - why would we keep them?
Again, fact, the military destroyed Bibles. Doing so, they caused incredible financial loss to the organization and people who donated money to print and send them, not to mention these are Bibles. Sacred text that many hold dear.
Do you agree or disagree with the destruction of these Bibles? And, since he loves to apologize to every terrorist, dictator, leftist, liberal and others alive -- why won't he apologize at least to the organization, if not the millions of US Citizens who are Christian and love the Bible?

This thread is one of the most ignorant threads I have seen some of you post on.

What's ignorant about questioning the rationality of a US President who APOLOGIZES to terrorists for destroying their code book? Seriously?

....criticizing the President for this is stupid.

I bet if I looked at each thread critical of the President, you would have this quote in each one. I get it. You love the President. However, not everyone is blinded by skin not to judge the policies and politics of Obama. Too bad most of his supporters do so based on his skin and not on the merits of his policies.

Some of you post as if you have no clue about our actions abroad,

Some post as if they have no clue the threat we see in the current President. Class warfare, racial politics, war on 2nd amendment rights, war against christians and the catholic church, and a war on whistleblowers.
You of all, JD, would be screaming to high heaven if W had filed as many prosecutions against government whistleblowers. Obama has more prosecutions against them than the three prior Presidents combined.
And then there's the law he signed that allows US citizens to be held indefinitely without cause.
Sorry, we're not the ignorant ones.

Again, if they had "codes" in them, they had intel value.
If the "codes" were deciphered and it was deemed that the codes written in the korans were of no intel value, then they should have been destroyed-- but destroyed in a way that evidence is destroyed. That is NOT what happened in this case.
From a Military Police point of view, I have mentioned that there was more than one way where this whole incident could have been avoided.
It is ignorant to criticize the President for being diplomatic. The unintentional (but negligent) offense is still an offense.
When you offend someone, the decent thing to do is to apologize.
As for riling me up, well...
And your comparison still does not hold water. The incidents you are trying to compare are completely different in context.
I don't blindly support President Obama. I don't defend him on AFF because of his race.
This is where I could throw a race-based accusation your way, but I'm smarter than that.

Re: Another Apology from Obama
Yet another reason for all citizens to oppose this President.
"Last week, President Obama signed into law the Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011. This law permits Secret Service agents to designate any place they wish as a place where free speech, association and petition of the government are prohibited. And it permits the Secret Service to make these determinations based on the content of speech"
This is not a partisan issue. This is not a class or race issue. It affects everyone: black, white, brown, republican, democrat, independent. This, combined with the increased prosecutions against people who call out govt corruption, and combined with this Presidents signing into law the bill that allows the arrest and indefinite detention of US citizens, makes it crystal clear that Barack Obama is a threat to the US and her citizens, and he must be voted out of office in a landslide.
No more excuses. No more defending Obama. This is it. You either will vote to stop the destruction of this country, or you will side with a man whose every intent is to divide us and bring the US to her knees.
I cannot wait to cast my vote against Obama. I only hope other voters do more than vote on his skin color, like Samuel L Jackson, and millions of other idiots who did the same.
