What's your favorite canon?

What's your favorite canon, and why?

Thought about making a poll, but there are too many to choose from.

1. Protestant
2. Protestant, without the ones Martin Luther didn't like
3. Roman Catholic
4. Ethiopian Orthodox
5. Eastern Orthodox
6. Armenian Apostolic (has a catchy name, don't you think?)
7. Coptic Orthodox
8. Syriac Orthodox
9. Greek Orthodox
10. Slavonic Orthodox
11. Georgian Orthodox
12. Other (I know this list isn't complete. Find another one you like, or make you own!)

Re: What's your favorite canon?

Not meaning to be obtuse, but what exactly is a canon? Sounds suspiciously like "sect code" to me?

It is a selection of books for including (in our context) in the Bible. Which books are in, and to be considered inspired by God and infallible? Which books are out, and not inspired or infallible?

Re: What's your favorite canon?

Nope, none of them is right. Forming a canon is well-intended, and missing the point entirely. Also inevitable...so go ye, and codify.

Do you (or does anyone) have the written word of God to read? If so, what is it? What written documents does it consist of?

Black Powder! I have a little hexagon chunk of iron about 10 inches in length. I drilled it out to 50 caliber (1/2 inch). It is great fun on New Year and 4th of July. I can shoot 50 caliber balls, but mostly I just stuff it with newspaper. Boom! Boom!
