I find it hard to believe that if a Republican can't find a Republican he likes his best choice is a leftest Democrate that the Republican party overwhelmingly opposes

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

It's not that hard to believe-- I'm living proof.

The bottom line is that my party has not put anyone out there that is worth voting for (once Gingrich is out of the picture.)

I think the shadowy powers that be don't expect Romney to win against Obama but, maybe a Romney loss will help set up a more convincing win for a stronger conservative in 2016.

Romney really doesn't represent our Party.

Re: Shocker! 20% OF REPUBLICANS PLAN TO VOTE OBAM

Hey JD, still waiting on a reply on the thread "where is jd" in the fellowship hall.
But since you are here, I will copy and post it here.

"Glad your are happy about the Super Bowl! I had no real strong feelings one way or another, but I was pulling for the Giants.
Now to matters at hand!

In an attempt to cut this short, I started this because you stated you would be voting for BHO over Romney.
Is that really the case or were you just going for the attention grabber?

If not, here is the long reply.

1. Can you define the good that has come out of his administration? No I would not vote for Romney, just because he is white. However, if 95% of the white voters voted for Romney, then I would think that their decision might be somewhat based in a racial bias.
2. Instead of throwing adjectives around, give me something to justify your opinion.
3. If you really do not see this, then you need some more research. Look at 4 & 5 for further details.
4. I will try to keep this short, I could do an entire letter on this issue, but for the sake of interest. The BHO administration is now requiring employers to offer their employees full contraceptive and reproductive options in their health insurance plans. Many churches and especially the Catholic church are opposed to contraception and to reproductive options (abortion). The churches/universities/hospitals will now have to make decisions whether to follow the governments mandate or to follow what they believe are God's laws. You can read more about the debate by googling or here:
http://theweek.com/article/index/223...h-vs-obamacare

5. One of the first acts of the BHO administration was to began funding abortions overseas and to lift restrictions on abortions. More info here:
http://www.reuters.com/article/2009/...50M3PQ20090123

6. The BHO administration is economically inept. Because they have little to no experience in the private sector, they are lost on what their role should be.
Either that or they are deliberately making us like the European model, which has already shown that it is economically unsustainable.
Unfortunately, the government wants to not be government, but wants to tell us what morality we should have. Another example of what this government has supported in adopting of children by same-sex couples. This has, again, put some church adoption agencies out of business, because they will not permit this. You as a Gingrich supporter should know all about this.
7. Just to stay focused. Are you really voting for BHO?
8. See above...
Later."

You really intend to vote for this facist/socialist????

Re: Shocker! 20% OF REPUBLICANS PLAN TO VOTE OBAM

I find that very hard to believe, but I put no stock in any polls as they are worded to get the response they want.

I can't imagine anyone with just a little bit of intelligence voting for BO a second time. His silver tongue swayed many to believe his lies but surely by now they have seen the through his lies.

There may not be a perfect candiate to run against him, but as of now anyone would be better than he is. JMO

Re: Shocker! 20% OF REPUBLICANS PLAN TO VOTE OBAM

There have got to be a lot of conservatives out there that don't believe birth control is wrong, or that gay marriage is wrong (on a legal level), or that abortion is wrong in every case. As the right shifts further away from those (and others) views, those conservatives find themselves leaning more towards the liberal side of things. They are not necessarily liberals, they are just not as extreme as their party seems to be. In that situation, I can see some conservatives voting for a democrat over an extreme republican.

America becoming more secular might be a reason also. People might not want to vote for a candidate that gets their political inspiration from only one type of religion, or a candidate that wants to conform America to their particular religion. As Americans become more tolerant and accepting, it makes sense that they would move further away from the "religious" party.

As others on here have noted, the lack of a solid, defined Republican candidate is hurting them right now, as well.

I would respond, but I don't feel like it right now.
I'm just not in the mood this.
