Private Sector Job INCREASE, December
"Small businesses -- those with fewer than 50 employees -- made up nearly half the gains, hiring 148,000 people in December. Large companies with 500 or more employees hired 37,000 new workers, and medium-sized businesses added 140,000 to their payrolls."
I am sure that many of these jobs will disappear in the near future, if not already, with the end of the holiday spending season.
Still, the job market is seeing slow, steady improvement-- for which I am so glad.

Yeah... the next month or so will be the months that tell. December is a notoriously short time employment month.
Nationwide that many jobs could very well be simply holiday hiring which might have already gone away. So... time will tell.

More leftist spin. We do indeed have 6,000,000 less jobs than there were in 2008. Another fact the Dems don't ever mention is we add under 2 million to the workforce every year.

Of course we have less jobs now than we did in 2008-- we are coming out the worst economic disaster since the Great Depression!
The point is to dwell on the positive as I want to see our economy moving in a positive direction and it is, albeit very slowly. No spin, just the facts.
While listening to Boortz this morning, I heard the unemployment rate is actually at 8.5%!
This is AWESOME!

As far as these statistics I have noticed it work like clockwork. The administration comes out with a nice positive set of figures. Then a few weeks later when no one is listening they
revise the figures. Almost always DOWNWARD.

There is no increase in jobs. The unemployment rate is higher than they claim because it does not include the people who are out of work who are not collecting unemployment money.
A lot of people are going to be out of work this month because the christmas season increased employment, for instance extra store clerks, extra couriers, etc. They will all be out of work again. The real unemployment rate runs around 18%. Way more than when Obama took office.
Don't be fooled by left wing media.

people it is you and ME that decide these things. If you do not buy American no jobs come our way. Please do notice that I capitalized ME. As I wish to show that I too am responsible.
I will not buy anything made in Islamic countries as some of them shelter terriost. Why would I support a country that kills Americans to save a couple of bucks. I will pay the big dollars for American goods. Are you doing your share? Why blame Bush or Obama?

I approve this message.

Americans in general want to save money. so they buy what is cheap, they fail to realize that they are also buying their own destruction.

Is there an oil company that manufactures most or all of it oil to make gasoline from American oil?
I was told that Hess is a British company, but don't know where they get their oil from.

Why do liberals make up stories?
1 Oil is not manufactured. Irt comes from crude oil and is refined meaning separated.
2 Hess headquartered in Tulsa. Much of his domestic activity. he started in Jersey and delivered heating oil Amerada incorporated in Delaware.
In the early 80's an employee of mine with the name Hess took care of our Hess oil account. He was not related. We did work with the Refinery in St Croix.
Oil is a fungible product. You can learn about the industry if you wish. Most Democrats attack the energy industry.
