I finally pulled out my pistol last night!

I pulled it out to clean and lubricate. I think the fumes got to me because I woke up feeling weird.

I use Butch's Bore Shine and Hoppes #9 as cleaning agents. I'm not sure whether those products contain anything that can endanger a great one, such as myself.

No. I actually woke up at 3am and went into my restroom and sat there for a few minutes. There's a pretty large window there, so I was trying to breath fresh air. I could still smell the scent of the cleaning agents in my room. I started to feel better after a while.

I love the smell of mine right after it's been fired.

Nah, cause you are a believer and if you breath any deadly thing it shall not hurt you. No wait....

I use Hoppes #9 to clean my firearms also. Usually do it in a ventilated place so I have not gotten a weird vibe from it, although I am sure it could make you weird if you inhaled too much of it.
