I know what kind of evil MTV is. they are at least honest about it.

TBN is the devil dressed up in choir robes.
I was just fooling around in the forum and this caught my eye...Cmon Ferd, The debbil in choir robes? You can do better than that, that is just a UPC buzzword. Calling them the debbil is pretty extreme...

Re: Madonna On TBN

By the way listening to her on TBN sing Down rom His Glory reminded me of Joan Baez doing a vietnam protest song except this was done with a wood splitting soprano. Woa, I have a headache after that.

Here's Down From His Glory UPC style.

Down From His Glory

Words by William E. Booth-Clibborn
Music by Eduardo di Capua
1921

Verse 1
Down from His glory,
Ever living story,
My God and Savior came,
And Jesus was His name.
Born in a manger,
To His own a stranger,
A Man of sorrows, tears and agony.

Chorus
O how I love Him! How I adore Him!
My breath, my sunshine, my all in all!
The great Creator became my Savior,
And all God's fulness dwelleth in Him.

Verse 2
What condescension,
Bringing us redemption;
That in the dead of night,
Not one faint hope in sight,
God, gracious, tender,
Laid aside His splendor,
Stooping to woo, to win, to save my soul.

Verse 2
Without reluctance,
Flesh and blood His substance
He took the form of man,
Revealed the hidden plan.
O glorious myst'ry,
Sacrifice of Calv'ry,
And now I know Thou art the great "I AM."

Sam, I love the old school version of the song... I just think singing it on TBN had the feel of being a protest, I'm a oneness pentecostal, in your face, kind of thing. But thats just me I suppose.

I thought that in the Bible California was prophetically called Granola Land --the land of fruits, nuts, and flakes
