Re: Let's Get Back to the Cross
A single portion is one man's part. When we get saved we understand one man, Jesus, died for our sins, was buried, resurrected and sat on the right hand throne. But the Bible teaches a double portion concept of this. WE DIED WITH HIM. We are also risen WITH HIM to the throne! A single portion revelation does not give us confidence we need to conquer kings. We will only know we are seated with Christ on his throne when we understand the double portion concept.
Joshua's story shows the need for this double portion revelation to grip us before we can hang kings!
He needed more light than a single day's worth in order to hang those five kings. This is just as true for us in saying we need more than a single portion revelation if we are going to have the faith to hang kings!

"Many Christians do not try to understand what was written in a verse in the Bible. Instead they approach the passage to prove what they already believe."
