Why not?
If cussing is "very socially acceptable", then why is cussing in the open public socially unacceptable? Why is cussing every other word unacceptable?

We don't? LOL!!!! My kids have been thoroughly educated by the neighborhood dogs, horses and cows. Add to that, the fact that we directly answer every question they ask, and I would say that yes - we talk about sex.
Obviously we don't share explicit details of OUR sex life, or discuss sex in an explicit way - but that would not only be inappropriate for children, but also inappropriate for any adults in our life. Ergo, that's not the best analogy.
