Actually, this used to be a nation that said, "One nation, indivisible with liberty and justice for all", up until 1954. The United States added "Under God" 11 years before they managed to give black people the right to vote. We were godly enough to add a meaningless ceremonial two words, but not godly enough to allow African-Americans to vote.
I just love it when dingbats jump out of the woodwork to talk about how holy and godly this nation used to be. Do yourselves a favor and learn some history.
