Dems & Republicans Say "Don't Try KSM in NYC"

Mayor Michael Bloomberg (I), Sen. Diane Feinstein (D), Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D), Sen. Jim Webb (D), Sen. Lindsey Graham (R), Sen. John McCain (R) and a host of other politicians are saying don't try KSM in NYC, try him in a military tribunal. Very wise advice for the BO admin to listen to or ignore it at their peril.

1). The security bill is estimated to be $1 billion. Can you imagine the ammo that will give the GOP in the Fall campaign season? "We're spending taxpayers dollars to the tune of $1 billion to put KSM on trial, giving him full constitutional rights, at a time when we need to make as many cuts and get rid of govt waste as possible. Give the GOP the Congress and we'll refuse to fund it."

2.) The courthouse is right downtown close to the site of the WTC. The symbolism would be great for terrorists. It would be the self destruction of the BO admin if a bomb went off blocks away from the WTC b/c they chose to try him there. Smarter to move the location or better yet to move it to a military tribunal.

3.) The chances of KSM being found "not guilty" are good in a civilian court. The man was waterboarded over 80 times, was told his family would be killed, etc in order to extract valuable info that led to the apprehension of terrorists and the thwarting of several planned attacks. The bar for a civilian trial is so high the chances of a jury finding evidence inadmissable, determining KSM could not get a fair trial and set him free.

If the BO admin pushes this through, they will pay dearly in November. Mark it down.
