Not a Sista but you are correct. Either the scriptures will control your life or your flesh inspired by the Devil who rejected God's control of his life and sought to do his own thing. The original sin was pride that caused Lucifer to rebel against Divine Authority. The ungoverned who reject control usually do that in every aspect of their lives. I have watched the lives of the ungoverned and the fruit it produces and it is indeed sad.
