If he forgave her and they're happy now--great. But that was definitely the wrong way to resolve their issues. She could have taken it to God in prayer, and kept the problem where it belonged--inside the marriage.
No one said it was an example, Abigail. And no one said she used the circumstance to resolve their issues. It was something that happened because of their issues. And, yes, taking it to God is always best. Perhaps in a moment of weakness, Satan tempted her and then God stepped in......
