I don't have the time or energy for much political debate, but let me just make one observation. In my opinion, one is taking a big gamble when they ignore clear previous trends and factors and place failure in the economy squarely on Obama's shoulders at this point. The problem is that if the economy then begins to climb sharply soon, you won't have a legitimate argument against placing credit squarely on his shoulders. I would seriously rethink that approach.
