Exclamation Traditions of Men

I have a question for everyone, maybe you can shed a little enlightenment on it for me.

Many churches that I visit these days are steeped in varying degrees of man's traditions. These range from those of America's last century to those more subtle ones of Catholic origin.

So here is my question:

Which traditions (if any) do you all see as being beneficial to the modern-day church, and which ones are ineffectual, even destructive in nature, and should be scrapped? Also, how purist should we be about following the new testament church model?

Everything is up for grabs here, from pulpits to aisle rolling (unless the powers that be say otherwise).

Looking forward to hearing your opinions.
