I've been considering going back to school to get a degree in counseling...can you give more details, please?

I, too, graduated from BC and loved every minute of my time there. I didn't get married until many years later....I was honestly there to learn the skills needed to be a music director. After doing music for several years I realized my heart was actually in education, so I went back to school and got my Master's in education. I taught in public school and am now in administration in a Christian school and am seeing such a need for Christian counselors.

I can see both sides of this thread: Bible school was a wonderful experience I will never forget and I don't consider it a waste of my time. However, when my desires began to shift, I had to get a degree from a secular college.

Nothing wrong with either scenario, imo.
