Wall Street got a bailout, now Detroit wants a handout...and now transit authorities across the nation from DC to San Francisco are asking for a multi-hundred million dollar bailout because of a tax shelter scheme gone bad, a scheme involving domestic and intl banks and AIG. They say that urban trains will stop if Congress 'doesn't support mass transit'.
Perhaps we should rebuild the Capitol Building into the shape of a hog and have all kinds of teats on the side of the building with ATM machines at the tips.
I wonder if I can get a bailout deal too? I mean really, what's a few hundred thousand between friends? Sheesh! Come on!
