My children, understand the what and why about xmas. They know it's origin, and they know that December 25th is the sun god Mithra's birthday. Now, why would I want to shatter their dreams and take that truth away from them and replace it with a sham leftover from the Catholics.
People who don't believe in a Trinity but keep the tinsel tree?

So the moon landing took place on July 20th, 1969.
Which was my 5th birthday.
Do I celebrate my birthday or does it get deminished because of the anniversary of the moon landing.
You could pick a day from Jan 1st to Dec 31st and some wacho could find some tree, water, sun or dirt God that the Pagan's claimed was born to life on that same day.
But the difference to a believer is that we know those are gods.
We know that Christ is the Almighty God.
He is the one to be exalted over all...
We all celebrate the day we were born to new life.
I know you know the date you were baptized and received the spirit.
So we are born into Christ we celebrate that day.
But we will not set aside a day for the one who came into this world so we might have a new birth.
