Why do you think McCain lost?

I think he lost because Obama controlled the ebb and flow of discussion.

I think he lost because he has never embraced conservatism, and his attempts to assert otherwise came across as disengenuous.

I think he lost because he really is a "Maverick." He is such a maverick that the American people, liberal and conservative, could not identify with him.

I think he lost because Sarah Palin was villified mercilessly by the mainstream press.
