As a Republican I am quite clear that you need to earn your own way with helping hand from time to time so I don't make any pretense of wanting to redistribute wealth like Democrats do.

I hope you notice that I have not disagreed with this premise whatsoever... I am simply pointing out that the democrats do not, by any stretch of the imagination, have the corner on the market.
Republicans talk up things like...
Smaller government... Oh please.
Balanced Budgets.... How laughable.
ALL of the big boys are against abortion... but nothing ever changes.... nothing ever will... and yes, I know, it is the democrats fault. It always is.
Vouchers for school choice... How many Republican candidates have touted that one.
Never an election goes by without these particular verses of the Swan Song being sang... and yet never does another election come around when every single one of these things are still hot topics because nothing was done... nothing...ever.
They are all liars.
Period.
With very, very few exceptions.
But let us be sure and scream from the mountains how our liar is a better choice than their liar.
