If asked, all Pentecostals would say they believe in divine healing. That answer would come without a moment’s hesitation or thought. It is a part of the doctrine our faith is built upon. However, even though it has been historically part of our belief system, most people have difficulty bringing their faith into the present for our needs today.
There are many reasons for this problem. Perhaps it is because with modern medicine we have been conditioned to consider the options available before turning to the Lord. We know God can heal. We know God has healed. We know God does heal. However, the difficulty comes when we need faith for healing today.
We must fully believe that Jesus placed healing in the church today. If God’s power is available at all, it is available to heal. Faith for healing needs to be restored to the church more than ever before. Miracles of healing are a part of God’s way of propagating the gospel. Jesus had a crowd to teach to and to preach to because of miracles. A revival of miracles in the church today will have the same effect in our generation.
I know this is true because it has happened in our church.
