This Bill Ayers stuff is John McCain's last stand.
If all of the talk about Obama's ties to Bill Ayers don't begin to turn the polls, I'm convinced this race is over. Every battleground state with the exception of Ohio is now polling with Obama in the lead. The majority of them are well above the margin of error. If McCain doesn't make headway in the next week with his Bill Ayer's stuff, I think it'll be too late. With leads like Obama has picked up, the debates would be hard pressed to matter.
IMO, John McCain has to turn the tide in the next 10 days or this election is done. By the middle of next week, the handwriting may very well be on the wall.
