You would not hold this standard if it was an Apostolic preacher who baptized thousands in Jesus name .... but had struggles with heterosexual immorality. Nor would you categorize the
results of his exploits as a lie.
Truth is he's in sin NOW... and must repent ... and leave this lifestyle ...
but having feelings to steal, harm, murder, lust, etc ... you must admit is not necessarily sin ....
and unless you want to bank on all of his songs as being lies ... then you must remain consistent ... on a whole slew of others.
