Shocking! So Jekyll is not sola scriptura. The sole rule of faith is not the word of God but the word of God plus whomever he believes is a prophet and hears something not found in the bible. I said it before...this magic hair stuff if not stopped leads to more heresy

Can you see the forest through the trees?
Do you have an answer for the events listed above or do you wish to pontificate and assume as to why I am posting this?
Where in the world do you see that I am saying that we don't need the Bible? Who brought up hair?
On the other hand, I marvel at the faith of the New Testament churches who, having not necessarily seen or even heard of Jesus, experienced salvation and revival previous to the writings of Paul and not having the four gospels spread abroad.
We have a nice ready made book of scripture that people choose to deny, twist, take out of context, and use to their own devices. That goes for anyone, not defending nor discounting specific individuals. I was posting about a phenomenon where people have decided that what another individual said was the word of God. How did those, without definitive scripture, discern what was the word of God and what wasn't? I know how, but how did these people live in their everyday human lives that allowed them to be sensitive and obey the voice of God from another individual?
As far as hair goes, I have seen the same arguments for three years. Those who deny what Paul was saying in Corinthians will continue to deny, and those who espouse will continue to espouse.
