I don't like his posting style, but that is not the same as not liking the person. The man has done nothing to me for me to dislike him.
Secondly, when someone litters the forum with garbage threads, it is well within other poster's rights to let him know they don't like what they're seeing. (Frankly, it lowers the overall quality of discourse on the thread).
Keep in mind that I'm not the only one who have expressed this sentiment regarding Mark and his posting style. You may be a fan, but some of us are not.
And just as you're telling me I can ignore his posts, you can also ignore mine too, right?
He's a big boy, and probably doesn't need you to respond to what I post to him. He can respond freely to me as I have done to him.

Maybe I haven't liked some of your threads?? Maybe I haven't
liked some threads that others have started, so what??
Perhaps I don't like your posting style - I probably wouldn't
publically come against you and start ridiculing you but
rather choose to ignore your post plain and simple. If you can't
reciprocate that in kind then it's your problem. this is not your
forum, it's all of ours.
The threads are from news outlets and not necessarily my opinon but
they are potential topic starters. iF you don't like the subject, stop
gripping about and and go elsewhere
