Should the mother have explained the text in Corinthians as to why UPC women don't cut their hair? I can imagine someone from town reading the paper and thinking, "Those Pentecostals believe there's POWER in their hair?!"
When my sister didn't cut her hair and got asked about it, she just answered, "I like my hair long."
