I don't need to try to talk you out of anything. You can base your theology on your personal experience if you want to. I base mine simply on the word of God.

Thats a straw-man argument, brother and you know it.
I am not "comparing 1-stepper belief to homosexual beliefs" the way you're implying. It really irks me when my words and meaning are twisted like that.
I am simply saying that anyone, including homosexuals, can create a doctrinal position based on a point of view they already have in mind which they refuse to budge from.
For example , take the case of someone whose sweet Baptist grandmother didn't believe in tongues or the Holy Ghost baptism, but she "loved the Lord"... a person can establish a "paradigm" in their mind that "
theres no way the God I serve would throw sweet little granny into hell"... Thus from that paradigm they look at all salvation-related scriptures from a point of view to make sure that, in their mind, granny (and people who believe like her) is in heaven with the Lord.
