No one has stated that the Manual is equal to the bible. Yet every minister in the UPCI is supposed to at least follow the constitution of the org he is a part of, even if he doesn't agree. In America, we have the freedom of expression. We can express our dislike of certain laws. We can work to change those laws. But when we break those laws, we go beyond our rights as a citizen of the US of A.
The fact that many of the UPCI preachers in TN have tv in their homes, and watch unseemly shows like 24, and CSI, shows their integrity level is at an all time low. I do not care whether they preach against Pants on women, or long hair on men. If they do not have enough integrity to live by the bylaws of the org that they belong to until the bylaws are changed, then they should step away from the pulpit, and find a place of employment where they can make a living, while obeying the rules of the business they are employed with.

There is great wisdom to be found in the pursuit of integrity. To be absolutely honest it's a much greater pursuit than looking for loopholes.
